petrol Fuel prices nearly as expensive as diesel fuel

The purchase of a diesel car is worthwhile because the diesel fuel is significantly cheaper than gasoline. This formula was previously - now the matter is somewhat different: The difference in price between the two fuels is dwindling.

Gas station, a man filled his car with diesel fuel
Munich - If you drive a diesel car, could now appreciate much cheaper fuel than the owner of a petrol engine. But while the price of gasoline goes down slightly, the fuel for diesel is currently more expensive. A liter of diesel currently costs € 1.48 in federal funds, which are 1.3 cents more than in the previous week, as the ADAC announced on Wednesday in Munich. For E10 fuel, the drivers pay an average of 1.54 euros per liter, 0.9 cents less than a week period.

So the price difference between two varieties is currently 6.2 cents, while the tax gap between petrol and diesel is at just 22 cents. ADAC holds the current price of gasoline for "broadly appropriate", whereas diesel would "clearly too expensive," sold to motorists. Even the usually stronger in the fall of heating oil demand does not justify the current price of diesel.
As a reason for the increase in diesel prices called the oil company Aral the failure of several large refineries. Occasionally, some gas stations no longer offer the fuel.

According to the ADAC, Diesel 2010 was an annual average 19 cents cheaper per liter than gasoline. In the first nine months of this year, the difference was down to 12.5 cents.
